Lack of sleep is more dangerous to life expectancy than unemployment
A new study has found that chronic sleep deprivation reduces life expectancy more significantly than unemployment or lack of health insurance, ranking just behind smoking in terms of harm. Insufficient sleep is now recognized as one of the key risk factors affecting public health.
