A new app called Android Pulse has appeared on Android devices, automatically installed on millions of smartphones to improve system stability. It runs in the background and monitors abnormal resource usage by applications.
In the coming months, installing third-party apps on Android devices outside of the Play Store will become more difficult due to the new advanced flow system. Users will need to complete additional steps to enhance security, making the usual installation and update process more complicated.
Google has announced a reduction in Play Store commissions and the introduction of alternative payment methods and third-party app stores for Android, following an antitrust case with Epic Games. The new rules will first take effect in the US, the UK, and Europe.
