Baker Hughes expands deliveries for the CP2 LNG project
The American company Baker Hughes will supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies for the expansion of the CP2 LNG project in Louisiana, which is being developed by Venture Global LNG. Once construction is completed, the facility’s export capacity will exceed 29 million tons per year.

Major American oilfield services company Baker Hughes has received an order to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies for the Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2) expansion project in Louisiana, which is being developed by Venture Global LNG.
According to published information, the contract includes the delivery of six liquefaction units, totaling 12 modules, and is based on a previously signed equipment supply agreement between the companies.
Currently, the CP2 LNG facility is under construction. Once completed, its export capacity will exceed 29 million tons per year.
The value of the order, which was recorded in the second quarter, has not been disclosed.
Baker Hughes supplies equipment for more than 100 million tons per year of existing and planned capacity at Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG facilities.
