The Honor Robot Phone smartphone was unveiled at several international events, including CES 2026, MWC 2026, and the Cannes Film Festival. The device also made a public appearance in the hands of Spanish footballer Eric García during the celebrations following the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
Earlier this month, pre-orders for the Honor Robot Phone began in China. The official launch of the smartphone is scheduled for August 12, 2026.
Technical Specifications
The Honor Robot Phone features a three-axis gimbal camera mounted on a robotic arm. The smartphone supports a range of AI-powered functions, including AI Object Tracking, which allows users to automatically keep a selected object in frame with a double tap. The image processing system was developed in collaboration with camera manufacturer Arri.
According to preliminary information, the Honor Robot Phone may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, similar to the one used in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The device is expected to feature a display measuring between 6.3 and 6.4 inches with a “1.5K” resolution, a 200 MP main camera with gimbal stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera. The battery capacity will be around 6000 mAh.
