Ultrahuman has unveiled its largest platform update yet, called Emerald, which completely transforms the app’s functionality. The update introduces AI-powered health recommendations, offline data processing, improved navigation, and enhanced fitness and sleep tracking features.
The Emerald update expands support for third-party devices, adds real-time health monitoring, longevity tracking tools, and improved analysis of heart rate and VO2 Max. All new features are available to users free of charge.
A key highlight of the update is the UltraSphere system—an AI module that generates over 60 personalized recommendations using data on sleep, recovery, heart rate variability, skin temperature, cycle phases, glucose levels, as well as information about location, weather, and circadian rhythms. Instead of analyzing data themselves, users receive direct suggestions, such as going outside in the morning or reducing coffee intake to improve sleep quality.
Most data processing now happens directly on the device, allowing users to receive recommendations even without an internet connection. Emerald also features updated navigation, light and dark interface modes, improved workout detection, advanced heart rate tracking for Ring Air and Ring Pro devices, and a more accurate VO2 Max algorithm that has undergone laboratory validation. The platform supports third-party devices, including Apple Watch, Garmin, and WHOOP.
Additional features include Live View for real-time health monitoring, Sleep Screener, a Longevity section, contextual notifications, and expanded AI capabilities via Jade. The Emerald update is available free of charge to all Ultrahuman users.
