The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 smartphone series was officially announced in China in mid-July. Following the international release of the Redmi Note 15, it is expected that the Redmi Note 17 lineup will also become available outside of China. According to leaks, the anticipated European prices for these new mid-range devices are as follows:
- Redmi Note 17 4G (4 GB / 128 GB): €250
- Redmi Note 17 4G (6 GB / 256 GB): €300
- Redmi Note 17 5G (6 GB / 256 GB): €400
- Redmi Note 17 Pro (6 GB / 256 GB): €500
- Redmi Note 17 Pro Max (8 GB / 256 GB): €600
For the international market, some models are expected to have different specifications. Notably, the global version of the Redmi Note 17 5G will feature a 108 MP main camera instead of the 50 MP camera found in the Chinese version. The Pro models, priced between €500 and €600, will be significantly more expensive globally compared to their prices in China.
If the specifications of the Redmi Note 17 Pro remain the same as the Chinese version for the international market, this could affect the price-to-performance ratio. This mid-range device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, an 8 MP front camera, and a 50 MP main camera with an additional 2 MP sensor. In China, the smartphone comes with a 9000 mAh battery and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of 3500 nits.
