Thunderobot has unveiled a teaser for its Zero Air 16 laptop on the Weibo platform ahead of the Bilibili World 2026 exhibition, which will take place in Shanghai from July 10 to 12. The new model features a larger 16-inch display compared to the previous version, which was equipped with a 15-inch screen. Despite the increase in size, the device remains one of the lightest gaming laptops in its class.
According to the published information, the Zero Air 16 weighs 1.64 kg, which is about 60 grams heavier than the 15-inch version, even with the larger chassis. For comparison, another gaming laptop with a similar screen size—the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2026)—weighs around 1.96 kg. However, the Zephyrus G16 can be configured with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, while the Zero Air 16 comes with an RTX 5070.
The teaser image shows the Zero Air 16 equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor (16-core Panther Lake) and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. Unlike the previous 15-inch model, which used a Core Ultra 9 386H processor, the new version features a less powerful chip. The configuration includes 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive.
The laptop's chassis is made from carbon fiber, which helps reduce the overall weight of the device. At this time, details about the RTX 5070's power limit, the cooling system, and display specifications have not been disclosed. These factors will determine whether the Zero Air 16 is positioned as a full-fledged gaming laptop or a lightweight model with gaming capabilities.
The public presentation of the Zero Air 16 is scheduled for the Bilibili World 2026 event, with a full launch expected in August. Information about pricing and availability outside of China has not yet been announced.
