ConocoPhillips has announced the appointment of Andy O’Brien as President and CEO, succeeding Ryan Lance. Lance will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. Connie Haynes-Welsh, previously Vice President of Finance and Control, will become Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. All changes take effect from September 1.

Suncor Energy reported that Peter Zebedee, Executive Vice President of Production, has been named as the successor to Rich Kruger as President and CEO, effective April 2027. Kruger will move to the position of Executive Vice Chairman. Until then, Zebedee will serve as President and CFO starting September 14, following the departure of current CFO Troy Littl. Adam Albelda will lead the production division as Executive Vice President, while Shelley Powell will become Head of Development and Projects. Both appointments also take effect from September 14.

Shell has appointed Felix Farber, formerly head of the lubricants business in the EMEA region, as Executive Vice President for Low Carbon Solutions. He replaces Anna Mascolo, who has been named President of Vestas for Northern and Central Europe and Global Offshore.

In the state of Victoria (Australia), Jacqueline Symes has become the new Minister for Energy and Climate.

Chevron Bangladesh will be led by Shu Siong from August 1, succeeding Eric Walker after his six-year tenure in the role.

Occidental has appointed Brad Pollack as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, replacing Sylvia Kerrigan. Kerrigan will remain Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer until the end of 2026, after which she will serve as Senior Strategic Advisor through 2027.

DNV, an independent provider of quality assurance and risk management services, has named Joshua Clover as Managing Director for the Americas – Industrial Services.

McDermott International announced that Brian Low has assumed the role of Director of Global Category Management.

Modec Offshore Production Systems (Singapore)/Offshore Frontier Solutions has hired Bryan Vin Hte as Senior Commissioning Engineer.

Welligence Energy Analytics has appointed Konrad von Habsburg as Chief Commercial Officer, based in London.
