Compared to the previous Redmi Note 15 generation, the new mid-range devices will feature an updated design with slim bezels and a square camera module. The smartphone bodies will also become significantly more durable.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Specifications
According to the released images, the Redmi Note 17 Pro model is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, designed to withstand drops from heights of up to three meters. The device has an IP69K protection rating, ensuring water resistance. The images show the smartphone in a sky-blue color, with a plastic frame and two rear cameras.
Preliminary information suggests that the Redmi Note 17 Pro will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, feature a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, and have a 6.83-inch display.
Base Model and Other Versions
The more affordable Redmi Note 17 version is shown with a purple gradient finish and a single rear camera. It is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a 9,000 mAh battery supporting 67W charging.
There are also reports of a Redmi Note 17 Pro Max model in development, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor, a 200 MP main camera, and a 10,100 mAh battery.
