The Garmin Vivosmart 6 is expected to be an updated version of the Vivosmart 5 fitness band, offering enhanced features. Several months ago, information about this unreleased device appeared on the brand’s official websites, indicating preparations for the launch of a new model.
Mentions of the Vivosmart 6 were found on Garmin’s websites in Indonesia and Sweden. The first details about the model surfaced at the end of 2025, when a device description was discovered on Garmin’s Indonesian site. Recently, the Vivosmart 6 was also included in a survey for Garmin Connect users, where it appeared as a possible answer to a question about devices in use. However, the survey did not reveal any additional specifications for the fitness band.
Earlier leaks from Garmin’s Indonesian website suggested that the Vivosmart 6 would feature a built-in GPS module. This would be an improvement over the previous Vivosmart 5, which only supported GPS when connected to a smartphone. It is also reported that the new fitness tracker will support more than 30 workout modes, including running, walking, cycling, and swimming.
At this time, Garmin has not officially announced the Vivosmart 6. While it is assumed the device could be released in 2026, the exact launch date remains unknown.
