Bethesda is currently working on several projects within the Fallout universe, one of which, according to available information, could be Fallout 3 Remastered. An official release date has not yet been announced, but the appearance of new merchandise in stores may hint at a possible release window.

New Details About Fallout 3 Remastered

For a long time, fans of the series have been waiting for announcements of new Fallout projects. Bethesda has confirmed that it is developing several games, though their titles remain undisclosed. Previously, there have been leaks and rumors about the development of Fallout 3 Remastered. Recently, a Nuka-Cola bottle from Fallout 3 Remastered was spotted in the product lineup of Brodepot, a store specializing in figures and collectibles from games, anime, and movies. The item is listed as “MCFARLANE ELITE EDITION 7IN – FALLOUT 3 REMASTERED – #13 T-45B NUKA COLA.” The published image allows a glimpse of the model’s appearance, despite its blurriness.

Possible Release Dates

The product listing includes dates for the start of pre-orders and the release: the last day to pre-order is March 15, and the release date is August 31. This could mean the game will launch on or before that date. However, these dates are provided for reference only and are not official confirmations. It is noted that such product listings from Brodepot often turn out to be accurate, but there has been no official confirmation from McFarlane Toys yet.

Community Expectations

Some users believe the release could happen earlier, for example in April, since last year The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was unexpectedly released around the same time. Other possible release windows being discussed include October and November.

Additional Information

Recently, on the Kinda Funny Gamescast podcast, it was discussed that attitudes toward remasters have become more positive over time, but no information about the release date for Fallout 3 Remastered was shared.

After the surprise launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, which attracted significant attention, there is speculation that Bethesda might take a similar approach with Fallout 3 Remastered.
